I wanted to go from black, to blonde hair. Which I know will take a while. So let me show you how the process has been going and what the result is at this moment.

I started at home, since it takes so long and not many hairdressers seem to like to dye black hair to blonde.

I used Schwarzkopf Blonde, the strongest one.

The first day I used 1 package per dye (dyed it twice) but realised it was too little for my hair so I used 2 packages the next time.

It’s kinda funny how you can see the difference in the hair I dyed black many times and the hair I only dyed a few times. The roots got really light while the ends just wouldn’t release the dye. But it might have been because I didn’t have enough dye in it as well.

And after the third time when I used enough dye I got a bigger result. (Pictures also taken after washing my hair with Silver shampoo)

Here you really can see the darker and lighter parts.

And after a visit to the hairdresser it’s even lighter.

Now I can’t decide if I want it really cool-blond (like silvery) or warm-blond (honey ish). I don’t know what would look best with my skin type, decisions decisions. *shrug*

Well, that is my update for you!

I thought I would give you some previews and then try and tell you what’s in them what I have time!

Daybreak Aeval in the inner corner of my lid and approx. halfway over my lid. Zeljana on the outer part of my lid and The Gargoyle Trees in the crease and a little under my eye in the outer corner. The Gray Eyeliner per from Face under my eye and on the waterline. Also Smokey Eyeliner under my eye and as a eye liner on my lid. Shinkirou as highlighter as usual.

I also has en unfortunate encounter with our staircase, (2nd time this week!) just after I was done with the make-up, about where the steps actually is supposed to be. I argue they should be where I put my foot down, but the staircase didn’t agree. Which ended up in me tumbling down the bottom half of our staircase and bruising myself pretty nicely. Involuntary tears fell and I had to work hard to salvage the make up without having to remove it and redo it (no time for that!). I did get some ideas of the patterns that the tears did to my make up tho! And I’ll show you just because I really like the way you really see where the tears fell. Maybe I should use this as an inspiration for a later make-up project.

One of the products I recieved was a tester for Kanebo Sensai Cellular Performance Total Lip Treatement (’tis a mouthful) that I have been using a lot and that I have been thinking about writing a review of for a while.

I got a little jar of about 1 ml that has lasted me for so long and still haven’t even used up even half of it. They seem to be selling it in 15 ml little pump bottles so I bet it is meant to last a  lifetime?

It is a really non sticky formula, more like a lotion for your lips then a lip balm. I really love how this feels on the lips, and the way it looks! I would recommend this for anyone who has been looking for “that” lip product that they have been missing! When my little tester jar runs out I will definitely buy a full bottle, even if it seems to be quite pricey.

Whenever I remember to use this for a few days I see a big difference in my lips. My only problem is that I usually forget to have it out so I can remember to use it every day.

If you have some money over, don’t hesitate to try this wonderful products. It’s just amazing!

Spring Lunacy in the inner corner of my eye, Lemming in the middle of my lid and Shinigami on the outer corner and in the crease, also under the eye. Black Eyeliner as the eyeliner on my lid, and Eyeliner Gray under my eye. Shinkirou as highlighter and In the Garden on my lid. I think it’s time for me to finally get Tri Brow from MUS because using glittery eye shadow isn’t really the best idea.

I also want to show you how bad it can go when you don’t pay full attention. My eye liner brush slipped my grasp and created this:

Luckily I managed to save it as you can see above. But always pay attention!

Next I got a lot of tips from different people around the Internet, mostly on forums, about different primers. Since almost all my shadows were mineral eye shadows I turned to one of the vendors that also sold other mineral make up products and got myself a Shadow Base from Mad. I really liked this primer.

But it wasn’t perfect, so I kept looking and the next primer I got was from Fyrinnae. They just got in a Velvet Gel Silica Primer and it got a lot of good words from around the Internet. So I bought one, and when it came home I tried to use it. And I just hated it. I want a primer that is sticky, this was one was sticky but dried very fast so I didn’t have time to put all my make up on before it was too dry for me. I never really used it much after that so I can’t tell you if it keeps the colour well enough or so, but not at all to my liking.

So now what? I could always go back to my Shadow Base from Mad (which I did temporarily) but I still wanted to get that one primer that I would love.

I decided to try something more expensive. So I went to MAC and got recommended to buy a Paint Peintures so I got one of them and

tried it when I got home. It was horrible. Creased itself and just didn’t last very long at all. And it wasn’t sticky enough for me.

I gave up for a while, believing that perfect primer just didn’t exist. Then I found Lindas make up blog. This really talented hair and make-up artist that works for MUS. She used the High Tech Lighters from MUS as primers so I decided to take a closer look at them. There are many colours! Mostly pink/orangeish. Since MUS had a baby doll collection and I fell in love the pink and purple make ups I got a light pink High Tech Lighter called Milkyway. I loved it. From the first time I used it I just loved it! It is exactly the way I want it. Sticky, lasts all day and doesn’t crease! It’s just great, I really recommend this to anyone having problems finding a great eye primer.

I’m really loving this make up. I am so pleased with the eye liner under my eye and on my lid! I have Spike Heel in the inner corner of my upper lid, and then Sennyo all over the res of the lid, in my crease and under my eye. I also managed to apply my Eye liner pen under my eye without messing it up totally. Shinkirou as highlighter as usual.

What I should also mention is that I use Hich Tech Lighter from MUS as a primer on all my EOTD’s. I went through quite a few in my quest for the perfect primer. Maybe I should post a separate post about eye primers.
